If we haven't met, I'm the guy you see in Starbucks pounding away on a seven year-old laptop who looks like a bouncer. Despite my love for weight lifting and sports, I'm a total geek and proud of it. I like smart, well written books with intelligent characters. I have a low tolerance for idiocy and bullshit, but an even lower tolerance for people that don't understand the words 'compassion' or 'nuance'. I read more than is probably healthy, and despite being continually embarassed by things done under the guise of "Christianity", somehow still love God.
I've been writing for a long time and I have high hopes for my just-completed fantasy novel, SECOND BLOOD, which took me three years to complete.
My hope is to encourage you, share some laughs and tears, and rip the cowards telling you to settle.
We only go around the planet once. Let's make it memorable.
